First e-Forum of its kind

The Global Food Security Forum will be supported by the highest level of technology in order to create a highly interactive community before, during and after the Forum.
Each delegate will have access to a tablet device, and a specific application developed to share knowledge and support the community building.

Interactivity

The Global Food Security Forum device will enable each delegate to communication live with one another, to post comments and proactively vote in most of the sessions. It will help them play a true active role as a Global Food Security Forum community and make a difference.

Networking

All registered delegates will be able to search for any registered member and filter results by company, industry, area of interest or by name. The dedicated application will help delegates locate those other delegates that have similar profiles or share similar interests. They will be able to send messages, request a meeting, and add them to their own contacts – all without disclosing their personal email.

Programme Guide

An up-to-date interactive Program Guide will be available to all delegates at the end of each day and conclusions for each of the past sessions will be posted within 2 hours.

Message Center

The tablet includes a built-in Message Center for sending and receiving emails, as well as for event reminders and alerts.

Real-time Surveys

All delegates will be an active participant by taking part in live surveys and having immediate access to results.

Social Media

A live feed will allow all delegates to post thoughts and comments, as well as join in panel discussions. Tablets will also give access to other social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and the Global Food Security Forum interactive blog.

Live News

Delegates will stay up to date with the latest news, developments and happenings at this year's Global Food Security Forum with the live news ticker.

Global Food Security Forum Daily

Delegates won't miss anything at the Global Food Security Forum, thanks to a daily digital publication that can be accessed directly from the tablets. This daily newsletter will summarize all the events of the previous day, with highlights from keynote speeches and panel sessions, as well as preview upcoming events of the day.

In addition, the tablet will provide all delegates with other exciting digital content, including videos and summaries of Forum speeches and sessions, updated news and information, access to a digital photo and art gallery, and much more.
