Morocco's location at the crossroads where Europe meets Africa and the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean is reflected in OCP's commitment to its partnerships in Africa and the global South, including key partnerships in the Atlantic basin, which is an increasingly important stage of agricultural trade and global food security efforts.

Since helping to feed a growing world population is a central element of its mission, OCP has decided to create this Global Food Security Forum where South and North, experts and farmers, policy makers, entrepreneurs and other key stakeholders can come together for action-oriented dialogue and partnership on the challenge of food security.
